Code of the Road (follow-up to 12/26)

When I ran in my latest race, I was remembering your article regarding the poor manners of contemporary runners. The streets were wide, and there was plenty of space for the runners. Yet, going around a corner, I was almost shoved to the ground by someone passing me.

It is easier to understand, though still not acceptable, when the course if packed. However, that was not the case.

Perhaps we need to make a really vocal comment (more like screaming than your polite column). Oaybe a pamphlet on "Race Manners for Dummies." (Marsha Kelly, San Francisco)
