Jan 29, 2000 Tears for a Winner(commenting on March RW column) One of my biggest disappointments in terms of my running life is that I came on to the scene too late to meet George Sheehan or hear him speak. I understand why those specific words were chosen for the back of the George Sheehan Classic medal ["Winning is never having to say I quit"]. Underneath those words, I wish they had added, "I won."
